I listen to far more music when in the Antarctic than I do in the UK. I have decided to start at one end of my collection while in the office (Be Good Tanyas playing as I type), and come from the other end when running or skiing. Sitting between YES and XTC (alphabetically at least) is Yargonburger - fine music to ski to.
we lisen to cristmas here to
ReplyDeletei never got your taste in music nearly as a appalling as phils. yargonburger now were did that come from. have you asked your manager if it is acceptable to be playing music in the office ? As a UK tax payer you should be concentrating on the task in hand it cost me a fortune to get you there
ReplyDeleteWho or what is Yargonburger? even Google doesn't know! - Alan
ReplyDeleteYargonburger - might have spelt it wrong. Very 'of the moment' Bristol band.
ReplyDeleteHey guess what Yargonburger have reinvented themselves as Wildflowers and are on the main stage at St Georges, Bristol on Jan 15th - watch out Bristol. We are eagerly awaiting arrival of small Roses tomorrow
ReplyDeletereally enjoying the blog mike. Small Roses have arrived and are screamingly happy about the impending festivities. Glad to see that you are keeping up the running in Antarctica. What on earth do you run in, dont you slip all over the place?
ReplyDeleteRunning - its not as slippy as you would think. I have a pair of Mudclaw trail running shoes which are great, I tend to use them, although normal running shoes are ok. The bigger problem is soft snow, it's a nightmare to run on (in) and gets into the top of your shoes and makes you feet wet.
ReplyDeleteNiice blog you have
