Where is Halley?

I am soon off to Halley where we aim to commission our new station HalleyVI and close down our old station Halley V. For me, this means moving all the science equipment from HalleyV to HalleyVI as well as installing large amounts of new science experiments and equipment. The whole world rests upon Antarctica (it sounds so much nicer than Antarctica is at the bottom of the world!), and here is where Halley and the rest of the British research stations are.

  1. I should point out that there will be a 100 or so people at Halley this season, and about 15 of us directly involved in the science move. I am project managing the move but its a huge team effort.
